Joys of Life

The Joy of the Lord is our Strength and in His presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).

Joy is about changing our mindset. We can choose to dwell on the impossibility of our circumstances or we can immerse ourselves in the one for whom nothing is impossible. When we hide ourselves away in Him we can find a freedom in which JOY is abundant.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers (and sisters), whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things. The things which you have learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you." (Philippians 4:6-9)

My hope often runs out, until I find the joy of His presence. There, for some reason, I always find new hope. Maybe because once again I am reminded that it is not about my situation it's about Him. And my God is powerful and my Father is good and He is in a good mood toward us. And He is ALWAYS FAITHFUL!!!

"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13)
